SciFi’s favorite antisocial A.I. is again on a mission. The case against the too-big-to-fail GrayCris Corporation is floundering, and more importantly, authorities are beginning to ask more questions about where Dr. Mensah’s SecUnit is.
And Murderbot would rather those questions went away. For good.

On continue l'exploration de l'univers, avec les pérégrinations de Murderbot avec d'autres types de bot. C'est vraiment fascinant, et peu éloigné de ce qu'on pourrait s'attendre d'un futur technologique. De la vraie hard-science comme on l'entend, et comme on pourrait tout à fait le concevoir: oui, des civilisations extra-terrestres ont bien existé (statistiquement, le contraire serait étonnant), mais elles ont depuis longtemps disparu. Les "guerres" se font donc entre corporations, un peu comme dans Alien...
J'ai hâte de lire la suite, mais je l'ai trouvé un peu moins passionnant que le précédent. 4/5.
Traduction: enfin du français normal, quelques coquilles ont échappé au relecteur, ce qui est dommage, puisqu'il s'agit d'une réédition. On aurait pu s'attendre à ce qu'elles soient corrigées. 4/5.

First book in the series without a clear or present antagonist, which makes for some nice twists.
Murderbots relationship to Miki is fascinating.

Yet another re-read. This isn't my favourite in the series, I didn't find the story quite as enjoyable, and miss ART. However, Murderbot continues to be unacceptably relatable. "I needed to have an emotion in private." You and me both, Murderbot.

This was my favorite Murderbot book so far. The fact that so many robot characters in this series are incredibly wholesome reminds me a lot of the video game Stray. It’s a refreshing change of pace from the terrifying stories where robots turn on the human race.
I can’t wait to read the next one!
